I have really missed the Dr. Demento web site. This is a very welcome bit of news that you are doing this.

Awesome. I missed this the first email around. Sorting my requests now. Have you done a SciFi week yet? If not, I will get my list going now. Great work Wayne. I will be checking each week.

Great to hear "KOS Radio (Parts I & II)" by Arbogast & Ross once more. It's the first I'd heard it since taping it from The Dr. Demento Show on WTIX-AM The Mighty 690 here in N'Awlins back in '88 (that tape has long since vanished!).

Bob Arbogast died yesterday (3.26.09) in Mariposa, California at age 81. CHAOS, a two-sided 45 was recorded in '59 by Bob and Stan Ross, as Arbogast and Ross (I bought my copy then) and is a classic parody of late '50s Chuck Blore "Color Radio" as personified by L.A.'s KFWB and San Francisco's KEWB. The record is hilarious and one that I treasure. A friend and I thought that the snippets of the song played throughout would have made a great hit record! Few if any, of my friends have any idea who Arbogast and Ross were, or had heard of CHAOS.
