This was the first show recorded after the 9/11 attacks. Dr. Demento gave a short prolouge about why the show hadn't mentioned the attacks over the previous few weeks. He ended the show with Woody Guthrie's song "This Land Is Your Land" and, in a solemn voice, asked the country to stay strong as well as staying demented. (ChrisWolvie)
