This is a new show made during Halloween 2018. It's backdated to 2012 to fill a long empty space where MMS-157 should have been 6 years ago. I had a massive hernia operation in 2012 and couldn't make this show then. In fact, I've too many shows to make now, so this show is being hosted by the Ancient Vampire Consul Pious Augustus Arrgolus....among others. He's more laid back and congenial than I am, so you're in for a treat. This was meant to be the second and last Halloween show of 2012, in which, by tradition, I break out all the classic Halloween tunes and limit the DJ spots so you can just hear more holiday tunes. I still do it this way today.

As always, TMMS's policy is "Not everything is for kids." This episode is a golden example of this. In other words, the humor is nasty. The host, my jovial vampiric "Consul Pious" character, regales you with insane, half remembered tales of the ancient & not so ancient past with no thought of any kids who might be listening. So chase them from the room before listening to this. Preferably with a baseball bat with nails in it. "Not family friendly" is an understatement here. But I love it! (Stavro Arrgolus)
In case I haven't mentioned it a few zillion times already, the unofficial theme for the Halloween shows is "Tears of Blood" by Matt Fink (Prince's former keyboardist). He wrote & performed some keyboard oriented Halloween instrumentals for an old K-Tel album - instrumentals that sound particularly good as bgm on these shows. (Stavro Arrgolus)
Sausuga TMMS! "As Expected of TMMS" - Stealth Sub-Theme: While the main show is about "vampires hosting the Halloween show", just under halfway through, the Consul mentions Tyro Arrgula's supposed obsession with big boobs, which Tyro denies outright at the start of Seg. 3. But for the remainder of the show, big boobs become a running gag. Even the bonus track is about them - while still technically being about death and Heaven. (Stavro Arrgolus)
