Toledo Window Box

Remember to plant near the March equinox.Stavro Arrgolus
Back in "the day", as the young people say, the whole "truth in advertising" thing was serious business. The album cover (and the stoned looking Carlin on the back cover wearing the t-shirt with the pot plant picked clean) was, in fact, an indication that a good portion of this album had a drug theme or was drug positive, at the very least. Those were the times when being positive about the drug culture didn't get you shot through the head. Good times... Although it's generally understood that Carlin was under the influence of one thing or another during the "Little David" album years, on this album, drugs are a more of a pervasive subject in the routines than on his other '70s albums. It's on this album that the introspection of "Class Clown" and "Occupation: Foole" is ditched in favor of more generalized topics. Stavro Arrgolus
