Show Facts:
With only podsafe songs to choose from, it's considerably more challenging to choose songs that strike a balance between old and new without sounding too much like either one. Or sounding entirely like an ad for The FuMP. Not that there's anything wrong with that.
The songs for the two Christmas podcasts were chosen at the same time, but I programmed method into the madness. This first show has as many familiar (or as familiar as you get with this sort of music) names and songs as I could find on the spreadsheet of podcastable songs that Wayne sent me. Little experimentation. The second podcast starts with the familiar and then goes careening off the rails into... well, you'll have to decide that for yourself. Which style will you prefer? Your choice will decide the manner in which the songs for the podcast are chosen.
(Stavro Arrgolus)

Will the podcast eventually get its own position on the "Features" menu?

Yes, it has been added.
And the not playing anything has been fixed too (the filename was too long for the database - I changed the database).

I'm a bit behind with listening to shows... so I just started on this one today.
I'm pleasantly surprised by the starting theme music.

You think YOU'RE behind Bob, I've got a LOT of catching up to do. Just because I joined in the old days doesn't mean I've actually been using the site until this past week. Very pleased to see the site has grown to fill the void from the forced removal of DD shows.
