The Amoeba People are musical ambassadors from the Planet Crouton, here to learn about our world, to unravel the wonders of its natural history, to study the life which inhabits it and to parse the mysteries of the human species by learning its dance moves. Scientists in the M51 Records Laboratory (a radio telescope laboratory that was decommissioned in the 60s but for some reason never shuttered its operation completely) were the first to receive a transmission from this extraterrestrial music collective. Upon arriving on Earth, The Amoeba People adopted their anachronistic wardrobe and vernacular from these scientists.

Facts: |
The Amoeba People's home planet, Crouton, is in the Ensalada Star System. Other planets in the system include Arugula, Endive, Romaine, Iceberg, and Imitation Bacon Bit (whose planetary status is currently an issue of debate). The Amoeba People are the only known expedition from this star system to have reached Earth. The expedition prior to them disappeared without a trace after the hyperbole powering their vessel inexplicably evaporated. (theamoebapeople) |
