Pepino The Italian Mouse was probably one of the first records I heard. My grandfather used to play it on his stereo for me. It brought back a lot of good memories. Also, Lou Monte used to live two towns over in Lyndhurst, NJ.

So I was responsible for it getting on the ballot and I was pleasantly surprised when it actually made the countdown being that it is mostly sung in Italian. Thanks everyone for voting and to DJ Particle for her wonderful and well-researched introduction......Pete
