fiogf49gjkf0d 1, 2, and 4! AWESOME!!! Thanks to everybody who voted! I'm honored to have 3 in the top 5 and this week is Atari's 10th straight week in the Top 10!

fiogf49gjkf0d Um, for some reason I can't get anything to load.
fiogf49gjkf0d Actually nothing will play for me as well, when I click play it says the page doesn't exist
fiogf49gjkf0d Screw My Head was played at #19 and Scratch In The Record was #18.
fiogf49gjkf0d Screw My Head and Scratch both got the same number of votes and were both released on the same day (with the Art Paul Remix Project album), but yeah, since Scratch had been on the chart before and Screw My head was a debut, Scratch got the higher position (#18)
So the first segment of the show went thus:
#20 Kiss Me Darling (I've Got AIDS) (Karl Brown Remix) Art Paul Schlosser
#19 Screw My Head In A Light Bulb Socket (Jim Anderson Mix) Art Paul Schlosser
#18 Scratch in the Record (Soggy Remix) Art Paul Schlosser
B.E.D. A Middle East Country, A Middle Earth Mountain Troll Project Sisyphus & Spaff.com feat. Luke Ski & Carrie Dahlby

fiogf49gjkf0d For the 5th time in the last 7 shows, Why Can't I Shoot The Dog, Rectal Thermometer and Dime In My Wife were were together in order (counting down).
For the 6th time in the last 7 shows, Why Can't I Shoot The Dog was right before Rectal Thermometer.
For the 7th time in the last 10 shows, Rectal Thermometer was right before Dime In My Wife.
Why Can't I Shoot The Dog and Rectal Thermometer were tied twice, on 3/21 and 4/18.
Why Can't I Shoot The Dog broke on Bleeding Edge Dementia right after Rectal Thermometer was played, on 3/14.
And as DJ Particle pointed out, Rectal Thermometer has been played 15 consecutive weeks, breaking on Bleeding Edge Dementia on 2/29 then charting 14 times. Please keep those votes coming!

fiogf49gjkf0d i haven't seen the full 2008 stats yet (Capt. Wayne will get them to me after the voting for the 6/27/08 chart ends), but I have a feeling #1 will be a tight race between Karl Brown, Luke's remix of Art Paul, and Odd Austin

fiogf49gjkf0d It's actually really funny how those three songs (Why Can't I Shoot the Dog, Rectal Thermometer and Dime in My Wife) keep ending up back to back like that--It's neat considering each song is so different in theme, original genre and from three totally different parodists.

fiogf49gjkf0d This is the Top 5 I have based on points as of 6/6. We can see how similar it is to the actual vote.
#1 Atari-Odd Austin Aeschliman #2 Rectal Thermometer-Karl Brown #3 Take Back The Music-Sudden Death f/Possible Oscar #4 Fan Speculation-DJ Particle #5 Everybody Get Weird-Art Paul Schlosser/The Great Luke Ski

fiogf49gjkf0d The current "point system" is 1 vote = 1 point, it's not based on chart position anymore.
fiogf49gjkf0d Looking forward to that Show Particle!

fiogf49gjkf0d -->The current "point system" is 1 vote = 1 point, it's not based on chart position anymore.
Which would mean that if someone had come in and voted for a song every week, it may not have appeared on any DT20, but could possibly show up in the half-year and year-end reviews.

I don't think one person could do it. But maybe if two people did it.......
fiogf49gjkf0d that's a BIG maybe....when you consider that in March, "Creative Commons Anthem", for example, already had over 30 votes, and by that theory the most a song could get if they were being requested by 2 people every week would be about 26.
I feel confident enough that enough songs in the top 25 of the half-year got over 52 votes to prevent that from becoming an issue.

I agree, I was being facetious again. :-)
